INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling!)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 large egg
2 and 1/2 cups flour, spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 and 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
3 tablespoons salted butter
3 cups powdered sugar, sifted (don't skip sifting!)
4-6 tablespoons cream or milk, more or less to taste
