2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks (1/2 pound) unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon cinnamon
