Well that was a mouth full! And so is this popcorn! I've never made anything like this before, I have to say this was amazing! This has everything you could ever want in a popcorn snack. From, salty to sweet to crunchy and smooth, it's in there. My goodness when you have all those flavors together in you mouth it's incredible. And it's easy to make! You can have this done and be eating it in 45 minutes. I couldn't let this alone, it was just way too good.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 cups miniature pretzels
  • 1 cup pecan halves, toasted
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 ounces white candy coating, coarsely chopped
  • 2 ounces milk chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped

How To Make striped chocolate popcorn

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine the popcorn, pretzels and pecans. Drizzle with butter and toss; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a microwave, melt white candy coating at 70% power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over popcorn mixture; toss to coat. Spread on foil-lined baking sheets.
  • Step 3
    In a microwave, melt milk chocolate coating; stir until smooth. Drizzle over popcorn mixture. Let stand in a cool place until chocolate is set. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 17 cups.
