Ingredients

  • 1 pound velveeta
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 4 ounces green chilis, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded

How To Make salsa con queso

  • Step 1
    Place cubed Velveeta, salsa, chilies, chili powder and garlic pawder in stoneware dish. Cover and cook on medium setting for one hour.
  • Step 2
    Stir and continue to cook until mixture is heated. Stir in Monterey Jack cheese just prior to serving.
