Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 3 cups vinegar
- 10 - drops of red food coloring(optional)
- 1 package little smokies or any type of beef sausage, not eckrich or any like that.
How To Make pickled sausage

Step 1Combine the water,salt, vinegar and food coloring in a large pot and heat to a boil.

Step 2you can cut the sausage to desired size, leave little smokies whole.

Step 3place sausage in a glass jar that has a lid. pour the mixture in to jar. Place lid on the jar and tighten and let it stand for 2 days then serve.
