I was craving a cookie with Nutella, and out of the blue, it hit me. This recipe is the easiest cookie recipe, I've ever come up with in my mind.

How to Make Delicate Nutella Cookies

  1. Place a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Lay the pie crust on the parchment paper. Spread Nutella on top of the pie crust, leaving 1/2 inch free along the outer edge. Place the second pie crust on top of the Nutella, and press a fork around the edge to seal. With a toothpick, gently poke holes on the top crust.
  2. Place cookie sheet in the oven, at 350 degrees. It should take a few minutes for the crust to be done. Check for doneness at around 20 minutes. If the crust is too soft, leave in a few minutes more.
  3. When done, allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Slice as you would a pizza. Enjoy. You could also substitute jam or marmalade, in this recipe. I've made a short cut Rugelach cookie like this, with apricot jam, chopped walnuts, cinnamon and sugar mixture, spread on the first layer of pie crust.
