8/original recipie yields 4 quarts
onions, small white
distilled white vinegar
How to Make Bread & Butter Pickles
1In large pot, combine the onions, mustard seed, turmeric and celery seed.
2In sauce pan, combine sugar, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour the boiling mixture into the pan with the onion mixture.
3Add the cucumber slices. Pack to into sterile jars. refrigerate for 2 weeks before eating.
