found this recipe online not sure where tried it twice and came out pretty good. hope you enjoy

8 /original recipie yields 4 quarts
Ingredients
- 6 small onions, small white
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
- 3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 cups distilled white vinegar
- 1/3 cup sea salt
- 6 - cucumbers sliced
How To Make bread & butter pickles

Step 1In large pot, combine the onions, mustard seed, turmeric and celery seed.

Step 2In sauce pan, combine sugar, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour the boiling mixture into the pan with the onion mixture.

Step 3Add the cucumber slices. Pack to into sterile jars. refrigerate for 2 weeks before eating.
