This is a treat I usually make around Christmas...the cool weather put me in the mood to make today...enjoy!

egg whites, slightly beaten
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1 Tbsp
garlic salt
1/4 tsp
each - dried thyme, cajun seasoning
2 tsp
each - cayenne pepper & paprika
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1 tsp
worcshestersire sauce
2 c
walnut halves

How to Make Spiced Walnuts


  • 1Spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

    In a bowl, add seasonings to egg whites and mix thoroughly.

    Add the nuts and toss to evenly coat.
  • 2Spread out onto prepared sheet pan and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until coating is dry and nuts crisp up.

    When they come from the oven, I sprinkle with seasoning salt or Cajun seasoning...use whatever you like.
  • 3Cool, then serve...Yum!
