This is a treat I usually make around Christmas...the cool weather put me in the mood to make today...enjoy!

  • 2
    egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    each - dried thyme, cajun seasoning
  • 2 tsp
    each - cayenne pepper & paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    worcshestersire sauce
  • 2 c
    walnut halves

How to Make Spiced Walnuts


  1. Spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

    In a bowl, add seasonings to egg whites and mix thoroughly.

    Add the nuts and toss to evenly coat.
  2. Spread out onto prepared sheet pan and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until coating is dry and nuts crisp up.

    When they come from the oven, I sprinkle with seasoning salt or Cajun seasoning...use whatever you like.
  3. Cool, then serve...Yum!
