These are great for snacking or tossed in a salad. They are super quick to make and very tasty. I like that there isn't too much sugar. Enjoy!

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground allspice
  • 2 c
    pecan halves
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Simple and Quick Spiced Pecans

  1. Melt the butter in a large, non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Stir in the salt and pepper, cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
  3. Stir in the pecans. Toast the nuts, stirring frequently, until the color starts to deepen (but not blacken), about 6-8 min. *Make sure to watch closely so the nuts don't burn.
  4. Transfer the nuts to a bowl and sprinkle them with the sugar, while still warm, and mix. Then pour them out onto a plate to cool. Enjoy!
