Updated on Jul 30, 2014
These are great for snacking or tossed in a salad. They are super quick to make and very tasty. I like that there isn't too much sugar. Enjoy!

2 Cups
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make simple and quick spiced pecans
-
Step 1Melt the butter in a large, non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
-
Step 2Stir in the salt and pepper, cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
-
Step 3Stir in the pecans. Toast the nuts, stirring frequently, until the color starts to deepen (but not blacken), about 6-8 min. *Make sure to watch closely so the nuts don't burn.
-
Step 4Transfer the nuts to a bowl and sprinkle them with the sugar, while still warm, and mix. Then pour them out onto a plate to cool. Enjoy!
