The first time I had this recipe was in Yuma by a neighbor given to us on Christmas and I hope you try them . We went South for the winter and enjoyed meeting all these great friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 - egg whites beaten stiff
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pound nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter

How To Make ruth's nut scandia

  • Step 1
    Turn oven on at 325* Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in sugar then nuts. Melt butter in pan- spread nut mixture over the egg white mixture and mix well. Salt
  • Step 2
    Bake 10 min then stir and salt Bake 10 min stir and salt Bake 10 min stir and salt 30 minutes in all
  • Step 3
    If you double the recipe DO NOT DOUBLE BUTTER. Eat and enjoy and I can tell you they are delicious.
