Ingredients
- 2 pounds dried raw peanuts
- 1/2 cup salt
How To Make boiled peanuts

Step 1Soak peanuts in water to cover 8-24 hours. Weigh down with a plate if needed. Drain and rinse.

Step 2Place peanuts and salt in 4 1/2 quarts of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat to medium low, and cook 6 hours until peanuts are tender. Add water as needed to keep peanuts covered.

Step 3Remove from heat and let stand one hour.
