Kale Chips

Crystal ~

A nice healthy snack to munch on instead of potato chips. Kale chips are crunchy and delicious. They don’t look crunchy while they are baking, but they are!!

  • ·
    1 bunch of curly kale
  • ·
    1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ·
sea salt or garlic salt (or both ) ...add any seasoning you like!

How to Make Kale Chips

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place a wire rack in the cookie sheet. The heat can circulate around the Kale better when it is placed on a rack.
  3. Using kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces.
  4. Wash and dry the kale with a salad spinner, if you have one. Otherwise wash a pat dry with paper towels.
  5. Add the kale to a bowl. Drizzle olive oil and salt over kale and toss slightly to combine. Add the kale to the wire rack that has been placed in the cookie sheet.
  6. Bake until the edges of the Kale turn brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
