kale chips
A nice healthy snack to munch on instead of potato chips. Kale chips are crunchy and delicious. They don’t look crunchy while they are baking, but they are!!

Ingredients
- - 1 bunch of curly kale
- - 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- - sea salt or garlic salt (or both ) ...add any seasoning you like!
How To Make kale chips
-
Step 1Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
-
Step 2Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place a wire rack in the cookie sheet. The heat can circulate around the Kale better when it is placed on a rack.
-
Step 3Using kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces.
-
Step 4Wash and dry the kale with a salad spinner, if you have one. Otherwise wash a pat dry with paper towels.
-
Step 5Add the kale to a bowl. Drizzle olive oil and salt over kale and toss slightly to combine. Add the kale to the wire rack that has been placed in the cookie sheet.
-
Step 6Bake until the edges of the Kale turn brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
