These will fix your salty/cruncy cravings...and go great with your favorite sandwich too!

Just be patient enough to let the potatoes hang out in the vinegar a couple of hours - it is worth it!

I like the fact you know what's in them and they are fresh and crispy.

  • 1 large
    russet potato, sliced thin with a mandoline
  • ·
    enough apple cider vinegar to cover potatoes

  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar Potato Chips


  1. In a plastic bowl add potatoes and enough vinegar to cover them. Soak the potatoes for 2 hours.
  2. Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine ingredients for spice mix.
  3. Dry potatoes thoroughly. Drop into hot oil a few at a time and cook until potatoes are crispy and golden about five minutes.
  4. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle immediately with seasoning mix. Toss to coat.
  5. Transfer to pan to cool. Repeat until all chips are cooked.
