These will fix your salty/cruncy cravings...and go great with your favorite sandwich too! Just be patient enough to let the potatoes hang out in the vinegar a couple of hours - it is worth it! I like the fact you know what's in them and they are fresh and crispy.

Ingredients

  • 1 large russet potato, sliced thin with a mandoline
  • - enough apple cider vinegar to cover potatoes
  • SEASONING MIX:
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make apple cider vinegar potato chips

  • Step 1
    In a plastic bowl add potatoes and enough vinegar to cover them. Soak the potatoes for 2 hours.
  • Step 2
    Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine ingredients for spice mix.
  • Step 3
    Dry potatoes thoroughly. Drop into hot oil a few at a time and cook until potatoes are crispy and golden about five minutes.
  • Step 4
    Drain on paper towels and sprinkle immediately with seasoning mix. Toss to coat.
  • Step 5
    Transfer to pan to cool. Repeat until all chips are cooked.
