microwave lunchbag popcorn..a healthy way to pop!

I have used this recipe... many times. Hurrah! no artificial flavors...etc. Use plain popcorn...saves on the pocketbook! I generally use the yellow kind. When not using it put in a mason jar, cover tightly and keep in the refrigerator. Add butter and salt..after you put it in the bowl. I have even made caramel corn this way. I make this for when I make my recipe for : "POPCORN STUFFED TURKEY"

Ingredients

  • 1 - small brown paper bag
  • - a small drizzle of oil
  • 1/2 cup yellow popcorn, ( not gourmet kind)

How To Make microwave lunchbag popcorn..a healthy way to pop!

  • Step 1
    Open a brown lunch size paper bag. Add corn kernels, and a drizzle of oil. Fold the top of the bag over two times, CAUTION: Please do not use staples to close the bag ! you would not want to find a staple, by accident in your popcorn bowl!! Put in your microwave.and turn on. All micro waves are different, wattage's etc. so listen for the popping to stop.. Just a couple minutes.... Mine takes 3 minutes. Listen for the popping to stop.

    Once it is in a bowl, add melted butter, and salt ....
