Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 quarts popped (unflavored) popcorn
- 2 - large disposable shallow baking pans
- - wax paper
How To Make kelly's caramel popcorn

Step 1preheat oven to 250 degrees fahrenheit

Step 2pop popcorn and place in a large bowl. 5 quarts (As a side note we air popped the popcorn)

Step 3Gather a medium saucepan and place on medium heat on the stove. Place 1 cup butter into pan and melt.

Step 4Stir in brown sugar (2 cups), corn syrup (1/2 cups), and salt (1 tsp). BRING TO A BOIL, STIR CONSTANTLY!!!

Step 5Once boiling let it continue to boil for 4 minutes.

Step 6Remove from heat and stir in baking soda (1/2 tsp) and vanilla extract (1tsp).

Step 7Pour ingredients over popcorn, stirring to coat.

Step 8Place popcorn in two large shallow baking dishes and insert into oven.

Step 9Stir pans every 15 min for 45 min.

Step 10place popcorn on wax paper and allow to cool completely.

Step 11Once cooled break apart and keep in sealed container.
