holiday “merry munch”
Merry Munch is a treat that can be made at any time during the year, but it looks especially festive with the Christmas M&Ms. Swap out with pink and red M&Ms for Valentine’s Day, pastel M&Ms at Easter, and so on.

Ingredients
- 2 quarts popped corn
- 2 cups peanuts or mixed nuts
- 2 1/2 cups christmas m&ms
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 cups white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
How To Make holiday “merry munch”

Step 1Mix popcorn, peanuts and M&Ms in a large bowl.

Step 2Heat butter, sugar, and corn syrup in saucepan until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Boil until comes to a light caramel color, about 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 3Take off heat and pour over popcorn mixture (avoid having it be too hot, or you’ll melt the M&Ms). Stir until popcorn mixture is well-coated.

Step 4Spread mixture on a greased cookie sheet, let cool and then break into pieces.
