Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup karo syrup
  • - pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 quarts popped popcorn air popped is the best or just plain no butter

How To Make cracker jacks

  • Step 1
    Spread popped popcorn on jelly roll pan DO NOT OVER LAP,.Mix butter,brown sugar, and Karo syrup and salt. Stir and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda.
  • Step 2
    Pour enough sugar mixture over popcorn and bake in 200 degree oven for 1 hour, I try to kinda flip mine after 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    store in air tight container. You can sneak a small prize in bowl before serving.
