Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • - 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 c. choc. chips
  • 2 quarts salted popped corn

How To Make chocolate popcorn

  • Step 1
    In heavy saucepan, combine water, sugar, and corn syrup together, bring to a boil. Stir in butter. When butter is melted, add chocolate. Cook stirring constantly, until soft ball stage is reached or candy thermometer(238-240 F). Pour over popcorn and toss until well coated.
