I double the butter that the recipe calls for and it makes it chewier. Sometimes there is leftover caramel sauce and that is good on old fashioned vanilla ice cream. :)

Ingredients
- 1 pound bag of popcorn, popped
- 2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup karo syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- - aluminum foil
How To Make caramel popcorn

Step 1Pop a 1 1b. bag of popcorn. Try and pull out as many unpopped kernels as possible.

Step 2Melt butter, brown sugar and Karo syrup. Cook for 3 minutes.

Step 3Add 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Cook another 4 minutes; stirring occasionally.

Step 4Pour over popped popcorn. Mix well and turn out onto almunium foil to cool.

Step 5Store in airtight container.
