caramel apple popcorn
This recipe was adapted from a caramel corn recipe to add a bit of fall into our snacking. We hope you enjoy it as much as our family does.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups popcorn
- 2 bags apple chips
- 1 1/2 tablespoons instant apple cider ( 1 pouch) drink mix
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
How To Make caramel apple popcorn

Step 1Preheat oven to 250. Spray or line two cookie sheets. Pop your popcorn with popcorn oil/butter and salt. Remove unpopped kernels. Add apple chips to popcorn.

Step 2In a medium sauce pan, combine brown sugar, cider mix, corn syrup, butter, apple pie spice and salt. Heat on medium until it starts to boil. Add sweetened condensed milk and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Step 3Remove caramel from heat and pour over popcorn apple mixture. Stir to evenly coat everything.

Step 4Pour onto prepared cookie sheets and bake for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes for even cooking.

Step 5Remove from oven, break up large pieces and let cool. Store in air tight container.
