I had these in camp and they were fantastic. It was like having an apple pie without a crust! You could use a whole marshmallow, or mini marshmallows in place of the marshmallow fluff if you want, or it would be good with granola added to the center as well!

How to Make "What's" Apples


  1. Core the apple, and then put a little back into the bottom for a plug. Place this in the center of a piece of heavy duty tin foil. Add some cinnamon and sugar mixture. Put in some of the marshmallow fluff. Now foil wrap, and then put on a second layer of foil as this will become very juicy pretty quickly in the fire. Cook directly on the coals until soft.
