Love krispie cereal and peanut butter. I get requests for my tweaked version for family gatherings. I increased the peanut butter (by accident) once and we loved it! I also increased the marshmallows.

Ingredients

1 (20ozs) package marshmallows
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
8 cups krispie-rice cereal

How To Make tweaked pb marshmallow treats

Step 1

Butter a 9x13 pan. Butter a spoon and spatula.

Step 2

Place all ingredients except cereal, in a large microwave bowl.
Step 3

Microwave on HI for 2 1/2 minutes.
Step 4

Stir with buttered spoon. Return to microwave.
Step 5

Microwave on HI another 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. Re-butter spoon while cooking.
Step 6

remove from microwave and stir in cereal with re-buttered spoon. Coat all cereal- working fast before mixture cools.
Step 7

Spread into prepared pan with buttered spatula. Do not pack down or treats will be hard.
Step 8

Cool and cut into squares.
