Ingredients For trail mix

  • 1/2 c
    almonds
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    dry roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c
    pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins
  • 1/2 c
    dark chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 c
    unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground Himalayan pink salt, or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 - 2 pinch
    pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste

How To Make trail mix

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • 2
    On a baking sheet, spread out almonds and walnuts in a single layer. Transfer to the preheated oven and toast for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.

    In a large bowl, add roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, chocolate pieces, coconut flakes, and both cooled almonds and walnuts; season with salt, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.

    Stir until the ingredients are nicely blended and store in a glass container. The mixture will keep for up to 3 weeks.
