tonna's easy granola bars
(1 RATING)
My husband and I really love granola bars and like to take them in our lunches to work so I decided to make some . I just played around with what I had in the kitchen and this is what I came up with. They are really delicious! And so quick and easy! I gave one to my best friend and her husband one day as they were leaving to go on a hike and they loved them. She asked for the recipe and said she now she makes them and takes them to work and everyone asks for the recipe so I guess they are a hit!

-
Step 1For the 1 1/2 cups of chips you can add in 1 1/2 cups of any thing you like, nuts, dried cranberries, it can be 1 1/2 cups of the same thing if you want.
-
Step 2Take lids off peanut butter and honey. Microwave each until slightly softened (about 20-30 seconds). Combine everything in a large bowl. Press into 9x13 pan (that has been sprayed) and keep in refrigerator.
-
Step 3I like to cut mine into bars and wrap them individually and store in refrigerator. Great for lunches or to grab on the go!!
