- 1 box rice chex
- 1 box corn chex
- 1 box wheat chex
- 1 box stick or mini pretzels
- 1 pound mixed nuts
- 1 stick butter, melted

- 7 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons seasoned salt
How To Make texas trash mix (sallye)
-
Step 1Mix cereal, pretzels and nuts into a very large roasting pan. I sometimes add a large box of Cheddar fish to the mix.
-
Step 2Mix butter and bacon drippings in microwave safe bowl and nuke for 10 seconds until just barely melted (not hot)
-
Step 3Remove from microwave and add seasonings and whisk together until well blended. Spoon over cereal mixture, then carefully mix until all the cereal mixture is coated with the butter mixture. Note: I use my hands for this task.
-
Step 4Cook in open pan for 1 hour in 250 degree oven, stirring every 15 minutes
