super sweet pickles

I was never really a pickle lover until these. They are wonderful in chicken salad, cole slaw, etc. The name super sweet is quite fitting. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 5-7 pounds small cucumbers, sliced
- 2 gallons water
- 3 cups lime pickling
- 7 cups cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons pickling spice/bouquet garni tied in cheesecloth
- 5 pounds sugar
How To Make super sweet pickles

Step 1Soak cucumbers in lime water 24 hours. Wash & put in new clean water. Repeat washing & putting in new water every hour for 4-6 hours. Drain well

Step 2Mix sugar, vinegar & spices. Cover & bring to a boil. Let cool until cold. Pour over sliced cucumbers. Let these sit overnight in liquid.

Step 3Cook jars with lids 1 hour. Seal in hot jars.
