spicy pretzels
(1 RATING)
This is an all time favorite for snacks at work, home, holidays, etc. I'm always asked to bring this along. Also good to take along on a road trip. *** If you don't like things TOO spicy/hot, cut cayenne pepper to about 1 teaspoon.

Ingredients
- 1 package rold gold pretzels (the sm. ones tied in knots)
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- 1 package hidden valley dressing mix (dry)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
How To Make spicy pretzels
-
Step 1In gallon size FREEZER Ziploc bag, pour in Canola oil. Add dry hidden valley mix & mush it together. Add the garlic powder, lemon pepper and cayenne pepper. Mush/mix it up until the spices/herbs are dissolved. Pour in bag of pretzels(it's a one pound size). Zip bag closed. Lay bag on it's side and let the liquid settle to the bottom. In about two minutes, flip the bag over onto the other side. Repeat that one more time within first ten minutes. Then let it rest on one side. After about thirty minutes, flip it over again. The idea is to allow the oil/spice/herb mixture soak into the pretzels. These are ready to eat in about one hour and won't last long enough to get stale!! Enjoy!
