spicy deviled eggs
(1 RATING)
Most of the recipes I could find had pickles or pickle juice in them. Since I'm not fond of pickles (unless they are my aunt's homemade bread & butter pickles), I made my own recipe and added the Tabasco for a friend of mine who likes food with a little bite.

Ingredients
- 12 - large boiled eggs
- 2/3 cup miracle whip salad dressing (not mayonnaise)
- 1 tablespoon prepared dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons tabasco sauce
- pinch salt and pepper (to taste)
- - red pepper
How To Make spicy deviled eggs
-
Step 1Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolk. Crumble yolk with a fork or through a small tea strainer and mix with all but the red pepper. Fill egg cavities using spoon or piping bag then sprinkle red pepper on top.
-
Step 2Note: If you wish to make a batch them less spicy for your guests who don't like spice, omit the Tabasco sauce and use paprika instead of the red pepper.
