Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - sleeves of saltines
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- - toppings: chopped pecans, crumbled butterfinger bars, crushed candy canes, etc
How To Make saltine toffee bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 400°

Step 2Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray

Step 3Line the cookie sheet with the Saltines

Step 4Place Butter and Brown Sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil

Step 5Boil for 3 minutes stirring occasionally

Step 6Immediately pour the butter and brown sugar mixture evenly over the saltines

Step 7Place in the oven and cook for 6 minutes

Step 8Remove and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.

Step 9Let sit for 5 minutes until the chocolate melts

Step 10Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the saltines

Step 11Top with your favorite topping

Step 12Let cool completely in the refrigerator Break apart and enjoy!
