I've tried many different seasonings to roast pumpkin seeds. I like seasoned salt the best. Garlic, onion, Cajun, or smoked paprika, are also some good alternatives.

How to Make Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre heat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Rinse pumpkin seeds in a colander.
  4. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  5. Spread seeds on lined cookie sheet.
  6. Sprinkle evenly with seasoned salt or seasonings of your choice.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or til seeds are dry.
  8. Allow seeds to cool COMPLETELY before storing in a container or they will become soft. I usually let them air dry for 24 hours before storing them.
