Ingredients

    italian sausage, no casings1
  • 1/2
    chop meat
  • 1 small
    onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    peas, frozen petite
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 c
    romano cheese, grated
  • 3 c
    cooked rice
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • ·
    bread crumbs, dry

How to Make Rice Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. cook sausage meat, chop meat and onions, drain grease.
    add tomato paste and peas.
    add cheese, mix with cooked rice
  2. shape into balls, compressing well to keep together
  3. roll in egg, then bread crumbs.
    deep fry till golden brown { 2 minutes }
