1In a large 8 cup glass (Pyrex bowl, with handle), put 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of clear Karo syrup. Micro-wave on high for 4 minutes.
2Add 1 cup dry roasted peanuts to sugar and syrup mixture. Cook on high for 3 1/2 minutes.
3Add 1 tbsp. butter(margarine) and 1 tbsp. vanilla extract and cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes.
4Add 1 level tsp. baking soda. Beat, then pour onto greased cookie sheet. (Sprayed with Pam (or equivilent.) Let cool, 30 minutes, then break into desired size pieces. Place in plastic covered container, as not to get sticky. ENJOY!!!
