I cut this recipe out of a old local newspaper. It's addictive... once you start eating it it's hard to stop! It's easy and fun for kids to make and makes a great snack!

Ingredients

9 cups chex cereal (any flavor)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

How To Make puppy chow

Step 1

combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a microwave safe bowl. microwave until melted.

Step 2

Add vanilla and mix well.
Step 3

Pour over cereal and toss until evenly coated.
Step 4

Put cereal in a plastic bag with powered sugar until coated. Enjoy!
