This is a recipe my stepmother made one Christmas, and it was hard to stop from nibbling on this fantastic treat. She used the Oat Squares, but says the Chex would work also...

  • 8 c
    quaker oats squares or chex cereal
  • 2 c
    pecan halves
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    praline mix
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Praline Pecan Crunch


  1. Stir together cereal and pecan halves and put into a 9x13. Melt butter, brown sugar, praline mix and baking soda. Heat to boiling, then simmer gently 2 min. Pour over cereal, stir and bake at 250 degrees 1 hour. Stir once during cooking. Spread to cool.
