My mother used to make these when she had left over pie dough. I still enjoy making them and even make pie crust just to make these cookies.

How to Make Pie Crust Cookies


  1. roll out left over pie crust 1/8" thick
  2. cut with round cookie cutter ( my mother used a drinking glass )
  3. place on cookie sheet
    Spread with butter
    Sprinkle heavy with sugar and cinnamon
    lightly sprinkle with nutmeats
  4. bake in preheated 375 degree oven 10 to 15 minutes, or when slightly golden

    Store in airtight container
