My mother used to make these when she had left over pie dough. I still enjoy making them and even make pie crust just to make these cookies.

Ingredients
- - your favorite pie crust recipe
- - butter at room temperature
- - sugar
- - cinnamon
- - ground nutmeats *optional*
How To Make pie crust cookies

Step 1roll out left over pie crust 1/8" thick

Step 2cut with round cookie cutter ( my mother used a drinking glass )

Step 3place on cookie sheet Spread with butter Sprinkle heavy with sugar and cinnamon lightly sprinkle with nutmeats

Step 4bake in preheated 375 degree oven 10 to 15 minutes, or when slightly golden Store in airtight container
