  • 2 slices hearty, whole grain bread
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 8 slices havarti cheese
  • - honey mustard
  • - lingonberry preserves
  • - dill, minced (or dry) for garnish

How To Make open-faced havarti sandwiches

  • Step 1
    Spread butter on each slice of bread. Cover bread with havarti cheese.
  • Step 2
    Add a line of mustard between each slice of cheese. Put a bit of preserves in the center of each slice of cheese. Sprinkle dill over the top of each sandwich.
