This is also for a diabetic but its a good snack for children. I have three great granchildren and they love them.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 jar cherry,strawberry,raspberry,100% spreadable

How To Make oat berry squares

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, Combine flour, oats, brown sugar,baking soda, and salt; Stir in butter. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping. Pat remaining oat mixture into a 9 inch square baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Spread with fruit mixture. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Cool on a wire rack.one piece equals 150 calories. Diabetic exchange= 1 starch. 1/2 fruit. 1/2 fat.
