muffaletta naan paninni
I love soft and tasty naan so much because it is easy to bite into any fun fillings you want in it....this sandwich is inspired by the big ol Muffalettas in New Orleans...I like all the traditional meats with the cheeses and olive salad but my vegetarian friends get a special one with three different cheeses of your choice with the olive salad so we can all play like we are at Mardi Gras together !

How To Make muffaletta naan paninni
-
Step 1If you are making your own olive salad, place the olive salad ingredients in small food processor or chopper and pulse until finely chopped.
-
Step 2Heat naan in microwave about 10 seconds to soften.
-
Step 3Place a layer of olive salad on one side of one naan. Then on top of olives, layer ham, salami, mortadella or beef, provolone and fontina. Top with another layer of olive salad, then top with remaining naan, lining up with other naan.
-
Step 4Place on paninni grill or foreman grill and grill about 4-5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted. You may cut in half first if needed to fit grill. Cut into 4 servings.
