Mom's Grilled PB & C Sandwich

Nancy Allen

Many years ago when my 3 kids were in grade school, I would make these snack sandwiches in the afternoon and serve it with a cold glass of milk and they really loved them. Oh FYI, you'll need a napkin for this one. 8)

How to Make Mom's Grilled PB & C Sandwich

  1. Lay bread on a flat clean surface. Then spread peanut butter on each slice. Sprinkle chocolate chips on one slice.
  2. Press sandwich together and butter one side of the outsides of the bread.
  3. Place the buttered side down in the pan. Then butter the other plain side of bread. Grill until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan and let them cool on a plate until slightly warm to the touch, so no one will burn their mouth. Enjoy with a cold glass of milk. Easy to make as many as you need.
