mom's almond crescents
Mom made these every year in 1965 she gave the recipe to me, I have been making them ever since they are my favorites.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 plus 1 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chipped almonds
- - confectioners sugar
How To Make mom's almond crescents

Step 1Cream butter and sugar Add egg yolk And flavorings blend well

Step 2Add flour gradially until moistened. Add nuts.

Step 3Form into crescents about 2 1/2 inches long.

Step 4Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until slightly brown.

Step 5Sprinkle with confectioners sugar while hot.
