leanne's fruit salad
I love to serve fruit whenever I have a party or just serving my family,my sis loves all fruits.I do not care for any melons so I often make a separate bowl for myself without the melons.The orange and lemon juice brings the salad together,the sweetness of the orange and the tang of lemon juice is tasty.You can add mint if you like,my family doesn't like it,sometimes I'll add a spring just for color.I also love to add Tajin,it's a fruit chili,it's not hot,it just brings the flavor out of the fruits.You can get it salt free as well.

- 2 - oranges
- 1 - lemon
- - strawberries,bitesize chunks
- - blueberries, fresh
- - peaches,peeled bitsize chunks
- - nectarines,bitesize chunks
- - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar,brown sugar or granulated. optional
- - vanilla,to taste
- - tajin,to taste.optional

Step 1This is more of a method than a recipe.Use whatever fruits you like.I usually go down the produce aisle and buy what looks good and what fruits my family loves.

Step 2Combine all fruits in a large bowl.Juice lemon and orange,if the fruit is sweet,omit adding sugar,if not very sweet,add 2 T. sugar with the juices & vanilla. Pour over fruits and mix well.Sprinkle with Tajin,if using.Cover with saran,chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour. I use powdered sugar as it melts quickly.Brown sugar gives a good flavor.
