Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 - ciabatta rolls, split
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pound thinly sliced ham
- 1 can (14.1/2 oz) beef consomme or beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make hot ham dips

Step 1in a small bowl, melt butter in microwave. add 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Step 2place rolls on a baking sheet, brush cut sides with garlic butter.

Step 3sprinkle with cheese. broil 3-4 inches from the heat for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Step 4in a large saucepan, combine broth consomme and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low.

Step 5place ham into beef consomme and garlic. heat ham for 30-60 seconds.

Step 6using tongs, place ham on rolls. serve sandwiches with remaining broth for dipping.
