This recipe is somewhat versatile. I like it on Quaker oatmeal squares cereal and pecans. But i bet it would be good on popcorn too, or mixed nuts. Yummy!

  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    butter, cubed
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp
    rum extract
  • 1/8 tsp
    maple extract
  • 6 c
    mini pretzels

How to Make Honey-Rum Pretzels


  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, and honey. Microwave on high for 45 seconds to one minute, until butter melts. stir; microwave another 30 seconds, until mixture boils.
  2. Immediately stir in salt, baking soda, and extracts. stir in pretzels. Microwave 20-30 seconds. stir until well coated. spread on wax paper. cool before serving.
