Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 - salt
- 2 - vegetable oil
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 package hot dogs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour in separate shallow bowl
How To Make homemade corn dogs

Step 1Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees

Step 2In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking powder, And salt.

Step 3In small bowl, mix eggs, milk and oil.

Step 4Add wet ingredients to dry; mix well.

Step 5Roll hotdog in flour in shallow bowl.

Step 6Coat hotdogs with batter and drop in hot oil. (If batter becomes too thick, add 1-2 T. of milk)

Step 7Arrange 3 at a time in oil; turn halfway thru cooking time until evenly browned. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
