8all beef hot dogs (or whatever you prefer)

1 pkg(8 serving)of potato flakes,prepared according to directions)

8 sliceamerican,colby or cheddar cheese

bacon bits
How To Make grandma's potato boats

1Pre-heat oven 350

2Slice each hot dog lengthwise,down the center(careful not to cut all the way through) Spoon 2-3 Tablespoons of prepared mashed potatoes into sliced dogs. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Cut cheese slices diagonally and place on top of potatoes.

3Bake 10-12 minutes.(or until cheese is fully melted.
