celery seed
1/2 tsp
mustard seed


7 c
sliced cucumbers, unpeeled
1 c
onions, sliced thin
1 c
green pepper, sliced
1 Tbsp
salt (pickling or canning salt)

How to Make Grandma Carr’s Easy Freezer Pickles


  • 1Mix Part 1. Bring to a boil. Let cool.
  • 2Mix Part 2 and let sit at room temperature on counter for 2 hours. Drain.
  • 3Pour Part 1 over drained cucumber mixture. Let sit in refrigerator 2 or 3 days. Freeze in small butter tubs or any small plastic containers.
