Ingredients For ever-ready cheese log

  • 1/2 lb
    grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp
    super finely minced onion
  • 3 Tbsp
    green bell pepper, minced
  • 3 or 4
    stuffed olives, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped dill pickle
  • 1 Tbsp
    pimento, chopped
  • 1
    hard boiled egg, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    crushed saltine crackers
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make ever-ready cheese log

  • 1
    Combine Cheese with rest of ingredients in bowl, by hand with spoon.

    Form into long roll on wax paper. Wrap wax paper around, twisting both ends to secure. Place on plate to secure it from folding and falling while carrying. Place in fridge until firm, about an hour.

    Serve on tray surrounded by crackers and olives.
