Made these last year for Super Bowl party easy to make and they were a hit so decided to make them again this year but increased the amount.

  • 2 c
  • 2/3 c
    crisco (or lard)
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • dash(es)
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar (or more until desired consistsncy
  • c
    favorite fruits

How to Make Easy Fruit Tarts


  1. Mix flour,salt,and crisco with pastry cutter till it resembles peas.
  2. Add water I mix with a fork this is (what Grandma taught me )
  3. Using small amounts at a time roll out and cut into rounds.
  4. Bake at 350 for 16-20 minutes or until firm depending on oven.
  5. While they are baking mix the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar.
  6. Cool rounds add cream cheese mixture and fruits sprinkle with small amount of powdered sugar.
