Ingredients For cowboy bunkhouse sandwiches

  • 2 c
    cooked beef flank steak, diced
  • 5 Tbsp
    mayonnaise, divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    red onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    dill pickle, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 slice
    thick country style bread
  • 4
    lettuce leaves
  • 1 md
    tomato, cut into 8 slices

How To Make cowboy bunkhouse sandwiches

  • 1
    combine steak, 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise, mustard, onion and pickle in a medium bowl, add salt and pepper.
  • 2
    spread one side of each bread slice with remaining mayonnaise. divide steak mixture among 4 slices of bread, top each with a lettuce leaf, 2 tomato slices and a second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down. slice sandwhiches diagonally.
