Ingredients

  • 3-5
    flour tortillas
  • ·
    oil in a deep fryer or deep sauce pan
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    cinnamon / you can use less if you want

How to Make CINNAMON CRISPS

Step-by-Step

  1. MIX THE CINNAMON AND SUGAR IN A SQUARE DISH OR PAN AND SET ASIDE
  2. CUT THE TORTILLAS INTO 1 TO 1 1/2 INCH STRIPS
  3. PLACE STRIPS INTO HOT OIL FOR A MINUTE ON EACH SIDE. TAKE OUT AND LAY STRIPS ON A PAPER TOWEL TO SOAK UP EXCESS OIL. CONTINUE WITH THE REST OF THE TORTILLA STRIPS.
  4. TAKE OFF PAPER TOWEL AND DIP STRIPS INTO THE CINNAMON SUGAR MIXTURE WHILE STILL WARM.
